There are eight species of pangolin, four in Asia and four in Africa.
The Sunda Pangolin, Chinese Pangolin, Indian Pangolin and Philippine Pangolin are located in Asia. The White-bellied Pangolin, Black-bellied Pangolin, Giant Ground Pangolin and the Temminck’s Pangolin are all located in Africa.

A ninth species was recently discovered, but much like its name, Manis mysteria, not much is known about it yet – so watch this space!
